Chief Digital and Information Officer

Amitabha Tripathi is the Chief Digital and Information Officer at Birla Carbon and is based at the Company’s corporate office in Mumbai. Amitabha is responsible for all aspects of Birla Carbon’s digital and information technology strategy, which will enable the business leverage data- and AI-driven value for Birla Carbon globally.

Amitabha joined the Aditya Birla Group in 2020 as head of Data Science and Analytics at the Group Data and Analytics function, where he led enterprise-level data and AI initiatives across multiple businesses of the Group.

Prior to joining the Aditya Birla Group in December 2020, Amitabha led multiple significant global leadership and consulting roles over a 23-year tenure across companies such as Tredence, DataWeave, Mu Sigma, TCS, delivering data solutions to create business impact in several domains including Retail & CPG, Manufacturing, Banking.

Amitabha holds a Master’s degree in Statistics from the Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata, India.
