Birla Carbon Brazil’s Camaçari and Cubatão units and the Santos office, continue to work towards helping the people in the local communities, as part of their CSR activities. Some of the initiatives conducted by them recently were:

Birla Carbon Camaçari Plant

A group of volunteers organized a social action by collecting food products among the employees. The initiative benefited the Institution ‘Lar do Carmo’ located in the Dias D’Ávila city, close to the industrial pole that cares for 54 elderly residents.

The Quality Coordinator, Birla Carbon Brasil (Camaçari), and volunteer, shared that, “I had the honor of taking part in a gesture that truly warms the heart. Together with our volunteers, we delivered food to the Lar do Carmo, a place that welcomes elderly people with care and dignity.”

The volunteers frequently discuss opportunities to engage Birla Carbon employees in these initiatives. Each donation represents much more than nourishment – it reflects care, respect, charity, and hope for the people.

Small actions can create a big impact on the lives of those who need it most. The HR Analyst, Birla Carbon Camaçari, also highlighted, “We thank all the employees who participated and helped bring hope and care to the elderly.”

The Cubatão Plant and Santos Office

As part of the CSR initiatives of the Cubatão and Santos Office units, the group of volunteers organized a social action to celebrate the end of the year by collecting food products among the employees. The initiative benefited the Institution ‘Casa Crescer e Brilhar’ which provides shelter and care for children.

Approximately 400 items were collected, including non-perishable food and hygiene products. In addition, the children sheltered by the entity received gifts, making this time even more special and joyful.
