On June 12, 2026, the Renukoot Plant of Birla Carbon India was honored by the District Government – Social Welfare Officer, for its outstanding contribution towards social development and community welfare.

The plant demonstrated exemplary corporate social responsibility initiatives through:

• The distribution of free educational materials to students at Sarvodaya Residential school, Duddhi, Babhani and Panari blocks
• The support and care initiatives for the elderly in old age homes
• The contribution towards mass marriage programs for newly married couples
• The continuous efforts towards the upliftment and empowerment of underprivileged sections of society.

These actions reflect a strong commitment towards building an inclusive and educated community while creating positive social change. Sharing his thoughts,
the Plant Head, Renukoot, Birla Carbon India, said, “These impactful initiatives strongly align with the Group’s purpose and commitment towards enriching lives and Birla Carbon’s CSR vision towards building stronger communities through sustainable and inclusive growth.”

The felicitation ceremony was organized at the District Social Welfare department, Sonebhadra, Uttar Pradesh, India, on the occasion of the ‘World Day Against Child Labour’ that fell on June 12, 2026.
