Birla Carbon Spain’s support results in recognition of a local NGO

SPAIN LOCAL NGO SUPPORT

On April 5, 2025, Marina Solidaria, a non-profit association and citizen coordinator of Marina de Cudeyo, was honored with the Gold Category Mention of Honor by the ‘Marqués de las Amarillas’ Association, in recognition of their outstanding community service. Birla Carbon Spain (BCS) actively supports this association through various initiatives aimed at enhancing the well-being of the local community.

Some key contributions by BCS are towards annual collaborations during Christmas by providing toys for underprivileged families and donation on a weekly basis of food baskets with eggs and yogurt.

BCS is privileged to collaborate with this association that tirelessly works towards building a more cohesive, inclusive, and resilient society. This recognition not only celebrates their efforts but also reinforces BCS’ commitment to the communities in which it serves by virtue of –

Sharing his thoughts on this recognition, the General Manager of Birla Carbon Spain said, “This honor not only acknowledges Marina Solidaria’s dedicated efforts but also strengthens BCS’ commitment to supporting local initiatives and contributing to a more cohesive and resilient community. The award was received by the president of the Association – Víctor Lavín Torre; the secretary – Maribel Setién; and the council mayor – Pedro Pérez-Ferradas.
