When you view Birla Carbon’s Purpose video, you will see young basketball players. The players are part of the basketball team of Trecate, Italy.

For the second consecutive year, the team has received sponsorship support from Birla Carbon Italy, which includes free basketball training at the local elementary school, purchase of baskets and the requisite balls along with other necessary items.
On March 17, 2019, before the start of a basketball tournament at Trecate, Giuseppe Zanotti, General Manager, Birla Carbon Italy; Mauro Cavaleri, Purchasing Supervisor and Annalisa Malcangi, HR Manager, presented new sets of jerseys to the children. Every player in the team was wearing Birla Carbon Purpose statement – Share The Strength, along with the company logo.

Speaking to the team, Giuseppe said, “Birla Carbon, through its solutions, adds strength to many products. This continued partnership of Birla Carbon Italy with the school and the basketball team is one more unique way in which we continue to support the strength of our community.”
